Representing African and Asian-Pacific Scholars worldwide, the Africa Asia Scholars Global Network (AASGON) is a non-profit multilateral organisation and a global civil society network focussed on growth within the African and Asian continents.
Unlocking the Wealth of Universities and Building Bridges through a ‘Foundation for Change and Sustainable Development’, AASGON coordinates the talents of scholars, marshal a variety of resources and creates an enabling and supportive environment to strengthen and meaningfully contribute to the enhancement of higher quality education and purposeful academic entrepreneurship, towards the socio-cultural transformation and sustainable economic development of the African Asian and Pacific State, through a ‘Renewed, Equitable, Bilateral, Proactive and Sustained Global Partnership’.
Associate and Member of the Advisory Council of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), AASGON is an Affiliate Member of the International Association of Universities (IAU) and Member of the Strategic Forum of the European Association for Innovation (EAI).
Our mission is to contribute to the development of a new transparent and cohesive society of Africans and Asians working closely together to create and advance regional connectivity and high performance networks within the two continents and across borders. Our principal
objective is to help access the potential of Africa and Asia-Pacific in the regeneration of a sustainable and peaceful world.
Projecting the connectivity and integration of institutions and peoples from developing nations and communities as a means for world peace and prosperity, our vision is to positively re-write the history of the continents of Africa and Asia across the Global Village.
Our Values is to promote diversity as a source of cohesive habitation for a vibrant world, marshal a variety of resources for support and provide an enabling and supportive environment for all, to effectively engage and enhance growth for sustainable development.
